me: hi i just bought my car so its still under warranty and my key fob isn't working. can i just bring it in and get a replacement/or new battery?
guy: no you have to schedule an appointment and drop off your car with us. it could take a full day depending on the issue
me: .......... the key fob isn't working. it needs a new battery. i have to schedule an appointment and leave my car with you for that?
guy: yes depending on what the issue is it could take all day
me: its the KEY FOB, the button you press to unlock the car. it has nothing to do with my car
guy: our next appointment is monday at 7:30 AM
me: so you're telling me i have to miss work and schedule my entire day without a car?
guy: yes. it could take a full day to diagnose the issue
me: I HAVE A SPARE KEY FOB THAT OPENS MY CAR, THE ISSUE IS THE FOB - I NEED A NEW BATTERY, ITS UNDER WARRANTY, I'LL DROP OFF THE BROKEN ONE AND PICK IT UP WHEN YOU REPLACE THE BATTERY
